Overview of Staff and Training
We have one nurse in the assisted living who oversees a staff of caregivers and medication technicians. Our nurse, Dora, and her staff perform a daily meeting to go over any concerns about our residents. There’s also a monthly meeting for training on care and fall prevention.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Assisted Living is perfect for somewhat independent residents that want care available at the push of a button. We customize to each individual resident and start at $625/mo. and may include assistance with medication management, bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, mobility/transfer assistance, condition oversight, and much more! We have caregivers and med techs here 24 hours a day. Citrus Place also offers emergency pull cords in apartments, along with emergency push lanyards to wear. We also offer Wanderguard for residents that need a little more oversight when leaving the community.
Transition Support Services
We have a resident ambassador and the Wellness Team (Maribel/June) help acclimate new residents.
Transportation Services
Yes, we have scheduled transportation. Attached is our schedule.
Dining Experience
We have all-day dining from 7am-7pm. We offer 2 specials each meal, along with a Daily Menu with many choices. There is no assigned seating, served restaurant style with servers and a lovely time to socialize!
Addressing Resident Complaints
Residents can come to our executive director, Lori, our nurse, Dora, or any department manager. They also have the resident council they can attend monthly to share suggestions or concerns.
Cost of Living
1 Bedroom Assisted Living apartment from $4,615/month (504 sf + patio/balcony) + care.
Communication with Residents' Families
We contact families when there are concerns. We have regularly scheduled care plan meetings every 6 months or upon change of condition. If they are wanting something more frequently, they can call us or come see us for regular updates, but we don’t have any policy on routine call outs to families. Of course, we can customize to a certain degree to meet their needs.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Yes, we do offer short-term or respite stays with a 30-day minimum. Depending on the level of care in Assisted Living, the cost is between $200-250/day.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are! We have a one-time pet fee of $1,000.
Availability and Waitlist
We do not have a waitlist, but we only have a few apartments available currently in Assisted Living.
