Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
No. We currently do not have a waitlist.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
At The Gables at Charlton Place Assisted Living, we have myself, the Administrator, Assistant Administrator, and Resident Care Assistants. We receive training during general orientation, training with staff, annual training, and any training, as needed.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have in-services to educate our staff and residents, as well as drills, to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Yes. Our Assistant Administrator will be your support for our residents that desire to transition back into the community.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes. By appointment and availability.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Sure! We have family style dining. Our kitchen prepares our dishes and serves them where our residents can choose what interests them for that meal. We place our dishes in the center of the table and have our residents pass the dishes around on what they want second helping or a third helping on!
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We have a grievance process for any issues that a resident or a family member has. This ensures that your concern was heard and we can find a resolution for that concern.
What is the cost of living in your community?
Our apartments range from $3570-$4400/month. Cable is $20/month. You also have the costs of medications, medical supplies, labs, doctor’s visits, etc.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
With a change of condition, the sponsor will be notified of that change. For example, a fall. If your loved one has a fall. You would be notified that your loved one had a fall.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes! We offer respite stays.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at The Gables.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes. We offer COVID vaccinations and Flu vaccinations.
Are residents able to age in place?
As long as the resident is a candidate for Assisted Living, they can continue to reside in Assisted Living. Unlike our competitors, we offer skilled nursing next door and our residents can transition to skilled nursing when the need arises.
