To anyone who has family members don't take them there I had got admitted after my knee operation to do my physical therapy no one answer the call bell they don't give medicine on time they do what ever they want. I was admitted on the 27th of December the first night no pain medicine the second day no breakfast or lunch and the morning I fell in the floor no one came in to help one hour later they are asking after I had to a scoot to the edge of the bed to try and get my bad leg that I had surgery on next you know I was on the floor I'm screaming in dear agony and still no one came this is Saturday morning.Sunday morning no answering call bell. They don't change the bed you have to ask them to change your bed so what happens to the patient that can't talk. The worst place I would lEt my dogs live there. That place will make you depressed so take my advice don't send your family there.Carrol manor they are the worst ever. The pictures show sheets on floor thrown on top of urine.

A very close family member was staying at Carroll Manor for physical therapy and medical supervision. I had to bite my tongue a lot to be sure they at least got half decent care but as best as I can help it, they will NEVER be back here. The medical notes indicated that the patient is diabetic but for every meal, they were served some sort of dessert... A male nurse walked in on her showering as the female nurse had walked off and left her alone. Clothes where listed in detail on the inventory form but twice clothes had to be hunted down. Not to mention the hamper was never used because who wants to place their clothes in a hamper holding a roach or mouse trap?? Then to make matters even worse; when leaving, the patient asked for the wound care supplies that their insurance paid for during the nursing home stay so they can be used by the visiting nurse at home, and they were told they were in the bag and that "you can't see everything"... Well, no supplies were in the bag and now we're having trouble getting the proper supplies sent to the house and the wheel chair they said would be sent to the house still hasn't arrived. This really was a learning experience.  I wish more people would write good and bad reviews on medical facilities to help take the guess work out of finding a good place to send loved ones for care.I had to return to pick up a personal item that was left behind and all the nurses acted as though they didn't know who or what I was talking about.

If I could give a rating of zero, I would. My Dad was at Carroll Manor in October and everything about his experience was horrible. He called me and said "I would rather die than be here." My experience in dealing with the staff was also horrible. Of course, the excuse from the employees and management was that they were short staffed due to Covid. If that was the case, they should not have accepted new patients, but they did because it's a business and someone with my Dad's insurance was a guaranteed payment for them. The main reason I chose Carroll Manor for my Dad because his primary care doctor is on staff there, but trust me that did not make a difference for his care. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

My Dad went to Carroll Manor previously about 2 years ago for Rehab. The experience for him and our family was good. So when my Dad took a fall a recently and had to to have a hip replacement. We did not hesitate to have him return to Carroll Manor. Well this was the worst decision ever. Since Covid I guess they have reduced there concerns for residents. My Dad was there a little over a month. On the day my sister went to meet there with transportation to pick up my Dad. He looked totally different. Had not been shaved. We requested this several times after zoom meetings. During Zoom all we could see was his head. So once he got home what we witnessed was unbearable our Dad legs were so small. We were like oh no what in the world. Mind u we would take food to him. Order food for him. Also purchased snacks and soup. Which they assured they would warm up for him if he didn't want there meal. What is more heartbreaking to us is that our Dad has dementia. So it would be times he would talk with us he would say he was hungry. So that's when we would provide a meal for him. Which security had to be given the meal and take to his room. Because with Covid no visitation is allowed. They failed us they literally starved our dad. His first day home he said He is ready to eat & rest. Do Not I repeat Do not send ur love one to Carroll Manor. He also had a bed sore. How can a place that is supposed to care for humans. Everyone is to blame from the Director of Nursing all the way down to CNA. Place needs to be Shut Down. U playing with peoples lives

This is by far the worst nursing home/ rehabilitation center! The staff act real clueless when you ask them a question. When I asked to speak to the person running the facility no one could give me a proper answer. The only people that where nice and helpful was the people from rehab. Stay away from this nursing home if you are looking for good care for family members.

My mother in law was there for hip replaced recovery & that place is horrible. The bathrooms, floors and baseboards are dirty with cobb webbs. The air vents are full of dust! The staff is rude, & doesn't speak. They just stare at you! Find a different place for your loved ones! They don't even feed the guest healthy balanced meals!
