Overall, employees of Retirement Center Management in the Katy, TX area have mixed reviews. The majority of employees report that the corporate team is very supportive and provide extra resources when needed. They appreciate the opportunities for advancement and the day to day interaction with residents, families, and staff members. However, there are some employees who report terrible treatment and horrible upper management, claiming that the company abuses and overworks good people and only cares about numbers. Additionally, some employees report that the food is horrible and there is no variety, and that the directors are not professional. Advice to Management:Stop lying to your employees. Stop using them. Stop pretending to care about them. Stop pretending to care about the residents. Stop pushing for sales and focus on quality care. Pay your employees what they are worth. Employees of Retirement Center Management report a supportive team environment and culture, with coworkers, families, and residents being the best part of the job. The corporate team is seen as heartless and cold, and there is a need for better benefits such as more PTO. Scheduling is flexible, but there is often understaffing, and management plays favorites and is too quick to lay down punishments. Remote work is great, but leadership is seen as meh at best. The company is seen as family-oriented, with excellent corporate support and good benefits. The residents are good people, and it is rewarding to help seniors. However, there is a lack of work-life balance, and the pay is low. My father has lived here for two years in memory care. I highly recommend Carriage Inn for your family members. Their customer service for their residents is excellent and just a great place to live.
Best place in Katy Texas for your mom and dad
We, All Vegas Experience, were involved with their resident appreciation and casino party on March 27th. My host was Jamisyn E. She was very easy to work with and the entire staff did a wonderful job during the party. The residents really enjoyed the evening as well. We look forward to working with them in the future.
The residents and staff are so friendly. The food is really good and I am very excited to attend the casino night next week! I hope everyone one comes out to support the event benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. Thank you for all you do for the Katy community.
Carriage Inn promotes a family atmosphere for their residents. This is facilitated by their friendly and caring staff. I LOVE to visit, because the residents are absolutely precious. I always leave with a smile and I feel relief and comfort that my loved one is safe and happy at “HOME”- in CARRIAGE INN.
I can't say enough good things about Carriage Inn Katy! My older sister has been living there for almost a year now (yes, through much of the "Covid Crisis") and the staff has been nothing but caring, kind, and incredibly responsive to her needs. The folks who work there, from top to bottom, are polite, helpful, and gracious. And though it might seem like a small thing (but really, its a big deal), but I must say, the food is excellent. My sister's apartment is spacious and comfortable and is kept in tip-top shape for her. Bottom line, the atmosphere at Carriage Inn Katy is homey and relaxed, with a top-notch group of people who take great care of those who live there.
My Father in law has been there for 3 years. It is a wonderful, friendly, caring place to call home. The ENTIRE staff are so helpful, attentive, welcoming, friendly. I was there every day for a month so I saw it all. I almost cried when I left. Truly home!
I had so many problems getting my father discharged at the other facility. Carriage Inn made me very relaxed with their efficiency at moving him into his new place ❤️ It’s a very caring and knowledgeable place for any elderly parent to be!!!
Such a home feeling when you walk in, wonderful staff and very helpful with any questions we needed answered, activity center was amazing, hairdresser was great and the rooms are nice and spacious! Always welcomed us!
My Dad and I toured the facility and enjoyed the staff and the location and was able to move him in very quickly. He has been there for over six months now, and is enjoying the activities, the staff, and the food. I highly recommend Carriage Inn for all your assisted living needs.
I attended an Alzheimer's Fundraiser this past week at Carriage Inn and it was Fabulous! I was able to meet quite a few of the residents and they were all having a blast. Great food, dancing, casino games and prize drawings. The staff was so friendly and I would recommend anyone looking for this type of residence to visit and take a tour.
I love everything about the Carriage Inn Katy, from the friendly staff to the happy faces on the residents, that alone says it all! They have a wonderful activity program that keeps everyone entertained and able to enjoy every special occasion throughout the year. You can feel the warmth as soon as you walk in, I would recommend Carriage Inn Katy without hesitation.
I absolutely love everything about this community. I've been working there for a couple of month's and I'm already family. The residents are happy and the team is a pleasure to work with. It's a great place to be!
My grandparents currently live at carriage inn and they couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful and friendly they've made many new friends. They always have great activities going on when I visit. They seem to be just having such a better quality of life ever since carriage inn. I can't say thank you enough to the staff. I highly recommend carriage inn for anybody looking to live in independent living.
