Overview of Staff and Training
We have trained resident assistants and CNA's available 24/7, an RN and a Medical Assistant on-site 5 days a week and on call 24/7, a nurse practitioner visiting twice a month, and podiatry services every 60 days.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Our community utilizes care pendants with GPS for resident safety, conducts scheduled safety checks, and is an alarm-free, secure community. We have a full-time front desk employee monitoring the main entrance during the week.
Transition Support Services
While we do not offer direct support services, we collaborate with the ADRC for resources and have an active activities program to aid residents' transition into our community.
Transportation Services
Currently, we do not offer transportation services, but there are several options in the area, including free services for seniors.
Dining Experience
Our culinary team, led by a chef, focuses on fresh, homemade meals with options for various diets. We hold monthly "food chats" to gather resident feedback on the menu.
Handling Complaints and Issues
Residents can address complaints to our administrator or RN, depending on the nature of the issue, with escalation options available if necessary.
Communication with Residents' Families
Communication levels with families depend on whether the resident has an activated power of attorney. We conduct care conferences under certain conditions to keep families informed.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer 28-day respite stays at a flat rate of $8000, excluding Medicaid recipients.
