Training and Certifications
We have several hands-on training for all positions. They go through an orientation as well as being state certified whether it be STNA, LPN, RN, DO. They are also certified in OSHA, CPR, and much more.
Security and Safety
Our facility has cameras throughout the building and property. The front door has secure locks after hours and you have to be buzzed in.
Medicaid Acceptance
We are a Medicaid accepting facility so those who are unable to private pay or if they have already done a spend down are able to apply for Medicaid and at that point, the income comes to the facility minus $50.00 a month for personal expenses.
Transportation Services
We do offer one free transport within a 10-mile radius once a week. Also, transportation to all group activities outside of the facility i.e., Casino, senior center, restaurants, etc.
Dining Options
We have a bistro that is open M-F for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is always served to your apartment, as well as on the weekends currently for all meals.
Complaints and Communication
Complaints can be directed to the unit manager who is here M-F as well as being on call for emergencies. We also have Towne Council where all department heads meet with residents on a monthly basis.
They have to be listed as an emergency contact or POA/Guardian for us to release or discuss any information. They also can offer care conferences with resident and families.
Short-term Respite Stays
We do offer short-term respite stays, they are $120.00 a day minimum 7 days but can be months at a time if needed.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are a very FurRRR Baby/pet-friendly community. They must be up to date on vaccines and a copy of those need to be brought into our business office.
Vaccinations
Residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.
Aging in Place
Residents able to age in place until they are no longer safe in the apartment. Once that happens, they can transition to our Long Term Care which is on the other side of the building.
