Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our care staff includes LPN’s, RN’s, STNA’s, and caregivers. All staff undergo dementia training and skills training before starting their roles. They participate in peer-to-peer training for weeks and are required to complete monthly in-person training and online training through corporate. Specialized training is provided as needed for individual resident care.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have video surveillance, locked doors after 7:30pm, and all staff undergo BCI and drug screening upon hiring. Residents have call lights in all rooms and pendant necklaces for emergencies. We conduct monthly tornado and fire drills with residents and staff.
Transition Support Services
We offer a resident ambassador program and welcome committee to help new residents transition into the community. This includes invitations to activities and dinners, and introductions to other residents. We encourage a gradual move-in process to ease anxiety.
Transportation Services
Our transportation services include a wheelchair shuttle and SUV for doctor appointments three days a week, weekly shopping trips, and day trips.
Dining Experience
We offer all-day dining with flexible hours, including two specials for lunch and dinner, and a comprehensive always-available menu. Specialized diets are accommodated with doctor's orders, and all food is homemade.

Residents or families can bring concerns to the direct leader of the concerned department for investigation and resolution. Monthly resident council meetings are also held for discussions.
