Nursing Staff and Training
We have varying degrees of nurses on staff, including CAN, QNA, QMA, LPN, etc. We provide trainings to maintain licenses and all staff are assigned regular courses related to providing care in a Senior Living environment.
Safety Measures for Residents
Our Director of Nursing conducts assessments on the residents, and our nursing staff perform routine rounds throughout the day and night to ensure safety. Residents have pull stations in the bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as pendants that alert our nursing staff to their location.
Resources and Support for Resident Transition
For residents in our Memory Care unit experiencing adjustment difficulties, we employ redirecting tactics and engage them in calming or enjoyable activities. We collaborate with families for personalized suggestions and have a Doctor available for medical assistance if needed, which may include a temporary increase in anxiety medication.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation for planned activities and medical appointments, provided we are notified in advance to schedule the service.
Resident Council and Feedback
Residents can voice their concerns through our monthly resident council meetings, one private and one with our management team. Staff are always available to address any issues, with prompt resolution being a priority.
Cost of Living
Independent living starts at $2325/month, including a 2-bedroom unit with amenities and community participation. Assisted Living and Memory Care costs vary based on room type and level of care, assessed by our Director of Nursing. We now accept Medicaid Waiver for eligible residents, offering reduced pricing.
Communication with Resident Families
Emergency contacts are notified only in urgent situations, and communication with family members is restricted to those authorized by the resident or their Power of Attorney.
Respite Care and Pet Policy
We offer respite care starting at $125/day plus level of care, and we are pet friendly with certain restrictions to ensure the safety of our residents.
