Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, there are waitlists for most products. Cottages and villas have wait times of about 2.5 to 4 years respectively. Apartments range from 2 years to 1 year. The waitlist fee is $500 to join and is nonrefundable.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
I attached that in my previous email.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Is there a certain staff or department you are curious about? In IL (Independent Living), there is no healthcare staff, so mostly grounds, maintenance, receptionist, housekeeping.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
It is independent living, so we assume residents have most responsibility for their safety and their own wellbeing. We have an emergency response system, a nice fitness center, lots of activities, and beautiful grounds.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents’ transition into the community?
Not really. It is independent living. There is an IL street or hall rep that will greet them. New residents attend orientation.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, a shuttle at no cost for many local shopping venues and private car and driver that cost is based on trip. Most run about $30-$40.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
There are 3 restaurants. That information I'll attach.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
They would speak to a social worker or the IL Administrator.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones’ well-being?
We don't really do that in Independent Living. We do have a social worker if a move to a licensed area is warranted.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
No.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, it is $300 one time and an additional $25 a month for a cat or dog.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Only flu & pneumonia are offered here. Covid vaccinations you'd find in the community at large.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, we try to the best of resident ability.
