Overview of Professional Staff and Training
We have department managers that oversee their staff. Our Caregivers, Med Tech’s, LVN’s, servers, and housekeepers go through an extensive training prior to working on the floor. Everyone in the building is required to do an annual dementia training class. Those who facilitate our memory care program are auditioned and required to be college educated.
Safety and Well-being Measures
The Caregivers and nurses on-site 24/7 are required to check in on their residents periodically throughout the day. We have a concierge at the front desk from 7am-10pm. Our doors are locked from dark-7am for security.
Resources for Transitioning into the Community
We introduce new residents to others with similar interests such as careers, leisure activities, etc. Our Activity Coordinators work diligently in encouraging participation with activities and meeting others.
Transportation Services
Yes, we offer transportation to doctors and appointments, as well as outings to lunch, museums, gardens, etc.
Dining Experience
We provide all 3 meals in Josephine’s Kitchen, where the residents can mingle over each meal with restaurant style service and a very extensive menu.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents can notify their caregiver, front desk concierge, or nurse. They can also go directly to the Executive Director or use a Hotline phone number to report anything.
Cost of Living
We provide 3 different programs, as detailed in our attached Brochure. For Assisted Living, room and board starts at $5,700.00 a month for a studio. We have 11 floor plans.
Communication with Residents' Families
Upon move-in, the Activity Coordinator and Memory Care Program Coordinator follow up the day after and as needed during the first couple of weeks. We send photos to families or a simple email/phone call with an update.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Yes, we offer short-term or respite stays with a minimum of 30 days at $325.00 a day, all-inclusive rate.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, the resident must be able to care for the animal.
