My husband enjoyed his brief stay, while I enjoyed a rest from caregiving. That respite left us both refreshed. In just a few days time the staff and other residents became like family to us. The facility is immaculate. My husband enjoyed the food and the company of other residents. His room was lovely, with a smart TV, phone, view of the garden, and "very comfortable" bed. I felt cared for as much as my husband. As we drove away from the facility my husband asked if we could go back in the morning to visit! Thank you to all the dedicated staff for your kindness and the much needed rest!
My mother was a resident here during the pandemic. They used that excuse to cut staffing and care level. The last straw was when she fell in her room and the staff didn't alert me or call paramedics. I didn't find out until the next morning when I called her. I ended up taking her to the emergency room, because she had sustained injuries from the fall. I planned to move her after that, but she developed complications and passed away. I got a weak apology from the director, but I should have reported them for negligence at least.
My husband was a resident at this facility for two years. I had peace of mind knowing he was being well taken care of. The staff was amazing, compassion and loving. The facility was clean and the food was delicious. It felt like home away from home. I would highly recommend this place.
