My parents reside in one of the MEMORY CARE homes and the care for them is terrible! They pay over $5k monthly and these people are hired with NO MEDICAL experience whatsoever. Then, they have a whopping 2 people per shift in charge of over 17 individuals with major issues. This includes cooking meals and cleaning. I am not impressed by this company's GREED! They do not care about the residents, they care about $$$. My parents require better care and kindness, which is also lacking in these homes.
Never have enough staff on hand. Staff turnover is ridiculous. And this has been an issue for years, NOT just since Covid. Lots of excuses, but no successful action to resolve issues. Maybe they should pay the staff more and provide more workers per shift to lighten the workers loads? For the thousands of dollars per month that each resident pays, one would expect the BeeHive to have enough workers to provide all of the amenities/care they promise before your loved one moves in... And for all that money they should be able to pay the staff more to retain adequate staffing and provide the care they promise. Maybe the problem lies within the upper management/owners being able to effectively run and staff these homes.
We had a wonderful experience with Beehive Homes in Great Falls. My mother was allowed to move in on short notice when her husband suffered a heart attack. The staff worked hard to make her feel at home and to adapt to her moods. I was always able to get hold of someone there and they all knew her needs and issues. They allow any family members to visit at any time and even to eat meals there. It is comfortable and clean. The staff even offered to go to her home to assist when she went home to visit. They were caring and trying hard to help at a difficult time of her life.
1)How many calls does it take to get a simple answer from the Home Administrator? 2)Do you need to show up not once, but twice, in person to get an answer? 1)I don't know -- after at least three inquiry calls we STILL didn't get even a call back. 2)Apparently showing up in person to inquire and having the office assistant leave a detailed, handwritten note for the temporarily absent Home Administrator doesn't get you a return call either.Bottom Line: People in the community told me how great Bee Hive was. If Bee Hive Homes can't get the simplest of courtesies to return a call, imagine how they'd treat your family member! Despite what people told me about Bee Hive, had the Administrator taken the time to call me back one of the last days of my visit to GF (and helping my mom find care for my grandmother), I would have shared what I am sharing here and told them, "No thanks!"
5 stars all the way!! This has been home for my sweet great aunt for a little over a year now and I can peacefully know when I go back home after our visit she is being well taken care of and up to date on her medicine. The nurses are so kind and caring and so is all the other staff as well. I’ve gained so much trust with Zach especially, he is so genuine with the care he shows my aunt and I’m extremely grateful for everything they’ve all done for her. 10/10 Recommend!
This place will take your money, promise what you ask for, and do the opposite. Management is terrible, employee turnover very high, and only one or two barely-trained workers on shift per house to cover up to twenty residents. Do not consider placing your loves ones here if you aren't able to closely monitor the care yourself.
