Overview of Professional Staff and Training
At Bay Square, we have a diverse team of professionals including a certified assisted living manager, a certified dementia practitioner and trainer, an RN as our head of nursing, and a mix of licensed RNs and LPNs. Our direct floor staff consists of Personal Support Staff and Certified Residential Medication Aids. Most staff members have completed necessary trainings prior to or during their employment. Additionally, our staff participate in our Compass training program, which is akin to the dementia certification program, and they receive a general orientation along with on-the-floor shadowing with a qualified staff member.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
Our residents have individual service plans and undergo daily checks to ensure they are safe and accounted for. Assisted living residents may carry an alert pendant and have access to an emergency call system in their apartments. Memory Care residents live in a secure neighborhood and may also use emergency pendants upon family request.
Transition Support Services
We facilitate the transition of new residents by introducing them to department heads and integrating them into community activities, often pairing them with like-minded individuals.
Transportation Services
Transportation is provided for doctor visits and various outings.
Dining Experience
All meals are prepared in-house with a choice of two entrees per meal, alongside an a la carte menu. We have a social dining room for residents and a professional staff familiar with their preferences. Memory Care dining features an open concept area around a central kitchen.

Residents can log formal complaints, but most issues are resolved through our open door policy. Serious matters are handled through an incident reporting system.

Costs vary based on apartment size and care needs, starting at $300 per day for a studio, with care costs beginning at $35 per day and increasing based on additional needs.

Families are kept informed through our activities calendar and updates on any changes in condition. Care plans are reviewed after 30 days, with any change in condition, and annually.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays with a minimum of 30 days at a rate of $350 per day.
