Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our management team has extensive experience in senior living, with tenures ranging from 9 to 20 years. All staff members are required to complete online training before proceeding to on-the-floor training. Additionally, they are enrolled in classes on various subjects through Atria University.
Safety and Well-Being Measures
We ensure resident safety by staffing the front desk from 8 AM to 8 PM daily, after which doors are locked and alarmed. Our 24-hour assisted living staff is available to respond to emergency calls. We are equipped with smoke detectors, CO2 detectors, fire doors, and a sprinkler system.
Transition Support Services
To aid residents in transitioning into the community, we provide resident ambassadors.
Transportation Services
Transportation is included for both Assisted and Independent living residents, available Monday through Friday with a 24-hour notice.
Dining Experience
We offer a full breakfast and two featured items for lunch and dinner, along with an alternate menu. Independent Living residents receive breakfast and can purchase additional meals with a punch card. Dining hours are from 7:30-9:30 AM, 11:00 AM-1:30 PM, and 4:00-6:30 PM.
Addressing Resident Complaints
Residents with complaints or issues can meet with our Executive Director or the relevant department manager.
Cost of Living
Pricing information is provided below.
Communication with Residents' Families
We conduct care conferences for Assisted Living and Memory Care, and keep families informed through monthly emails and resident meetings.
Short-Term or Respite Stays
Short-term or respite stays are offered when space is available, although there is currently a waitlist for Assisted Living.
Pet-Friendly Community
Pets are allowed in Assisted Living or Independent Living but not in Memory Care. There is no monthly fee, but a one-time pet fee of $750 is required.
Current Waitlist
We have a waitlist for studios and two-bedroom units in Assisted Living, one-bedroom units in Independent Living, and for Memory Care.
Independent Living
Our independent living option is ideal for those who want an active lifestyle without concern for daily chores. The apartments feature FULL kitchens and a washer/dryer in the units. We have two theatres, 2 libraries and 2 gyms onsite. We have a front desk concierge daily from 8 AM-8 PM. We have just 46 independent living apartments. Unlike some standalone independent livings, we have transportation included within Longmont Monday-Friday and if you pull your emergency cord, because we have 24-hour staffing in our assisted living, they can come and check on you to make sure you’re OK. Also, dining is restaurant-style 7 days per week. The breakfast meal is included and then a resident can purchase a punch card for $7/meal for lunch or dinner. Currently, I have a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment that is 989 square feet that rents for $4595/month. I also have a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment that is 1101 square feet, on the main level and is at a featured price for September of $4495.
Assisted Living
Our assisted living provides assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, showering, toileting, escorts to and from meals and activities and Medication Management. A person’s care level depends on what they have on their care plan as determined by our nurse. If a resident has a diagnosis of dementia, we are required to do Medication Management. This includes ordering, dispensing and record keeping of medications. Unlike independent senior living, because assisted living is licensed by the state of Colorado, we have 24-hour care givers that can assist with all the activities of daily living and to answer the emergency call pendant/cord. Also, assisted living residents’ care is overseen by our nurses and one of them is always on call. In assisted living, we provide all meals, any care, all laundry, transportation (but you or she would set up the appointment), weekly housekeeping, etc. Currently, I am full in assisted living but do offer a wait list. I also have a short wait list for 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartments. Our leases are month-to-month.
Memory Care - Life Guidance®
Our secure Life Guidance® memory care neighborhood for those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, accommodates just 15 residents and is inherently small to maintain a calm and home-like environment. Base rent includes the following: Meals, housekeeping, laundry, 24-hour staffing, medication management and stand by assistance with dressing, grooming, showering, toileting and escorts. Currently, we are full in memory care.
Community Fee and Payment Options
There is a 1-time community fee for Independent, Assisted or memory care which is 1 month’s rent but is not required with a short-term stay. We are private pay but do accept Long term care insurance and the Veteran Aid & Attendance Benefit.
Healthcare and Amenities
We have visiting physicians that can be used by all levels of care (IL, AL & Memory Care), a rounding podiatrist, a rounding dental hygienist and occupational, physical and speech therapy in the lower level of our building and a hair salon on the second floor. We are private pay.

Positive feedback emphasizes the clean, modern facilities, excellent staff, great food, and serious COVID precautions. The community is praised for its welcoming and attentive staff, meaningful accommodations, and a variety of activities and care options that foster genuine connections and interactions. Celebratory gestures for residents' milestones and the use of technology to keep families connected are also appreciated.
However, some reviews express dissatisfaction with management practices, including issues with compensation for contractors and concerns about the community fee being high and non-refundable.
