You’ll receive the warmest welcome and so many promises from Mgmt that are broken. Promised the rate would never exceed $9900.00 a month if when total care is needed. It’s now $11,000 per month. We were promised very personalized and attentive care. Loved one was often not checked on for 2 to 10 hours when it’s supposed to be every hour. No call bell and his door closed. Loved one lost 30 lbs in 11 months, so Dr prescribed nutritional supplement. 3 different LPN’s signed the medication admin record but did not give on 4 different days. The MAR is a legal document so they falsified medical records. Two care partner’s are supposed to transfer pt to/from wheelchair to recliner or bed. One care partner did it and dropped him on floor. Seen on video camera. Then she began chastising a man with Alzheimer’s and he apologized to her! He was never assessed for injury by Artis nor was this reported. Loved one was left in urine saturated undergarments for hours on end and often smelled of urine. Nurse in charge could not provide a record of showers. Nurse in charge failed to get a urine specimen for (14) days to rule out UTI - he had symptoms of it. I got it in 5 minutes. LPN left over 50 pills out on top of her med cart for over 30 minutes. I told her and she wrote in my loved one’s medical record that I was interfering in patient care. OMG! All residents have free range and are often near the med cart. Recently he was left in bed until 11:50a offered no breakfast, food since 6p the day before. He was found by me crying and laying in 2 lbs of urine saturated undergarments and human waste. Everything stated here is 100% the truth. Me being a nurse it is my ethical duty to report this facility. Emails and video footage can prove everything stated here.
