Horrible! They put on their dog and pony show in the beginning to impress you then they don't return calls or emails. Their therapy department is lacking at best. My dad was released early and was NOT ready. He didn't feel like he was and neither did the family. When he and us wanted to discuss it with the Therapist it was denied and we were were told that "they said" he was ready. Reluctantly was discharged . Next morning the RN from Medicare came to assess the situation and set up therapy and was appalled at his condition. He was released 4 weeks early. He immediately had to go back into Rehab...a different one of course. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! It's all about filling the beds. So sad.
So happy this place re opened. I was sad when they closed from damage of Hurricane Hermine and Matthew. But they are rebuilding. Currently you can find bok choy, spinach, winter lettuces, strawberries, bell peppers and egg plants. My 7 year old nephew would rather come here than play at a park. The staff is friendly and accommodating and love seeing people that appreciate fresh fruit and vegetables. If you are in the area don't miss this place. Grab a basket and some shears and make a salad. Fresh eggs are new to the farm
This place was good for the first day and then it escalated quickly. They didn’t do anything they said they would. Wouldn’t shower her, took 20 minutes to shut off an alarm, and when we would ask why they would just get defensive. I understand they may be short staffed and I’m so grateful to anyone who tries to take care of others but this place was not it. One day my dad and I went to check on my mom and she was sick. No one told us anything or even thought of alerting us. To me, that is neglect. She had to be rushed back to the hospital. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
There were so many infractions inside of this facility. Once the state evaluators and family visitors leave, the “smiles” and friendly “masks” come off. This is when the residents retreat back to not being treated with proper care. I physically had to run numerous roaches away from crawling on the patients as well as in their beds. I witnessed a patient BEG for help to be gotten up out of bed (which was safe for her to do so) and simply sit up and talk with other human beings. A nurse shunned her as if she didn’t matter and stated, “I don’t have time for that. You’ll be ok.” There were a handful of aides and nurses that were genuinely kind. However, the bad heavily outweighed the good. Patients were left to lay in feces and soiled linen for long periods of time. The ones that were able to speak, were constantly ignored by nurses. The patients that were non-verbal were denied care for even longer periods of time. It is unhealthy and unsafe. The situation was simply heart wrenching to say the least. I’ve traveled to many facilitates in my career and this one sadly falls to the bottom of the barrel.
I would NEVER send a loved one to this place again. My 81 year old mother was there for a month. Many (not all) of the nurses were rude, inconsiderate and uncompassionate. I actually feared for the safety of my mother. I had to escalate situations that should never have occurred to upper management. I only gave one star because it doesn't allow me not to give any.
Just left Arbor Trail having Thanksgiving dinner with my mother who is a resident there. Everyone from administrator, director of nursing, activities staff, bookkeeper, and other staff members greeted and served you your meal. I feel like my mother has another caring family at Arbor Trail. Thank You Arbor Trail! Rena Wood
I was so fortunate to be placed at Arbor Trail for a brief stay. What a wonderful staff who helped me feel at home. I had the best therapists who assisted me in getting stronger so I could come home. I also found that all personal were friendly and respectful. I have so much appreciation ♥️
My Dad is at Arbor Trails for rehab. It took a couple of days for him to settle in. The staff is wonderful in assisting him. They have been patient as he settled into the daily routine. The house keeping staff keep every thing clean and tidy, the food has been good and served in a timely manner. The Therapy Staff have really been patient, understanding and consistent. The nursing staff has been great to answer questions and assist with his comfort. Last but not least the management and business staff have helped so much with helping me to under stand this process and assisting me in planning for what is next. Thanks Arbor Trails for making us feel like family and at home. The Tindale Family.
I have been here for 10 months. I have gained my strength back and I am healthy again. The Therapy Department is Fantastic! They set a program for me and I have been kicking butt and feel awesome. I have hope again. Thank you to all the great staff who have made my stay so wonderful.
