Understanding the importance of healthcare appointments, we provide a van service for residents to attend doctor's appointments. This service is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and caters to locations within a 10-mile radius of our community.
Dining Experience
Our dining experience is designed to be restaurant-style, offering residents a variety of meal choices in a comfortable and social setting. This approach to dining enhances the overall experience, making meal times a pleasure for all.
Health and Wellness Staff
At Burlington Creek Senior Living, we prioritize the health and wellness of our residents. We have a Director of Wellness and a Charge Nurse to oversee the well-being of our community members. While we do not have a nurse on-site 24/7, we do have med techs available at all times. Additionally, residents have the option to sign up with Hurana Health for on-site medical services provided by a doctor or nurse practitioner.
Safety Features
Safety is a top priority in our community. Residents are equipped with pendants that can be worn around the neck or like a watch, ensuring they can easily call for assistance if needed. Each apartment is also fitted with pull switches in the bedrooms and bathrooms for added safety and peace of mind.
Resident Concerns and Grievances
When residents have concerns or complaints, they have a direct line to our executive director, fostering a one-on-one relationship that allows for immediate attention to their needs. There is a formal grievance process in place, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Family Communication
Keeping families informed is important to us. We maintain regular communication through various channels, including a newsletter, Facebook page, and an activity portal that showcases daily resident activities. Emails are also sent periodically to update families on any changes or upcoming events within the community.
