If I could list a negative I would. No personal care, no hygiene residents REEK of body odor. No safety, no grooming, malnourishment and dehydration need I say more? Do not send your person there.

The furniture in the Grants Pass houses are awful and need to be replaced and haven't. The constant turn over of staff caregivers is horrific. I heard the admin was wrongfully fired and now they have no staff nurse. House has stained carpets and the rooms smell. No activities done with residents. Staff would rather be on smart phones. I would never put my family in this facility

Ashley Manor Anique has a staff that cares about their residents and are always willing to grow and learn new ways to help take better care of families and residents always with kindness and patience. The staff goes to great lengths to make family comfortable as well and have built some great relationships with our residents and their loved ones. The building is always clean and smells good and the whole group makes sure things are well kept. The management in this building work together to make sure that the families and residents are always taken care of and they are always there when their staff or building needs them, they have established a very caring and comfortable house for their residents to call home.I would recommend Ashley manor to anyone who was looking for a place for their loved one to call home.

I would actually give this place 0 stars if I could. My mother had head lice 3 times in 2 months. I wasn't told the second and third time she had lice. I found out from the doctor that checked her over when she was admitted to the new place she is at now. Her teeth were always dark and not brushed and her hair rarely combed. I had to mark her diapers to make sure she was being changed and many times it was the same diaper I put on her when I came to visit. How can anyone let an elderly dementia person be in a diaper for 24 hours? There was also a time when she was in a recliner in the same position for two days. When I tried to get her up, she was stiff and could hardly move. She was bent to one side and could not straighten up. I came to see her every day to make sure she was being taken care of, so I knew how long she was there and what clothes she had worn the day before. Same socks left on for days. There are too many things to list as to why I am not happy with this place. She was also left at the dining room table for 3 hours where she had fallen asleep with her head on the table. As I would come in the door, I would be told what a great day she was having and how happy she was. I never believed it because I was there to see for myself.I am happy to say she is at another place now and looks great everyday and is being taken care of. Her teeth look perfect and her hair is always combed. Also, different clothes every day.You need to be proactive when finding a place for your loved one. Go everyday. Check things out. Just because a place looks good on the inside doesn't mean it is a good place. Our loved ones deserve the best care at the end of their lives.
