Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training

We have a diverse team of professionals including a Certified CBRF Administrator, a Licensed RN, Certified Nursing Assistants, PCWs, and Medication Technicians. Our caregivers receive Dementia Care Certification and we ensure ongoing education for all staff to maintain high standards of care.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

Our facility is equipped with delayed Egress locking mechanisms, a wander guard system, and personal call pendants for residents. We have awake staff available 24/7, ensuring regular checks on residents and swift response to any needs.

Support Services for Residents

All caregivers are trained in Dementia Care. We collaborate with Hospice, Home Health services, and Dementia Care Solutions to provide comprehensive support for our residents and their families.

Transportation Services

While we do not own a van, we facilitate access to three different transport services, assisting residents with their scheduling needs.

Dining Experience

Our dining services are led by a Head Chef and two full-time cooks, offering three meals a day in our main dining room. We encourage social dining but also accommodate in-room dining.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents and families can voice concerns to any staff member. We have a formal grievance procedure and also provide contact information for the local Ombudsman for unresolved issues.

Cost of Living

We require financial disclosure for a minimum of two years of private pay, with a one-time community fee and a base rate per month. We offer different levels of care, including Memory Care, with varying costs.

Communication with Families

We keep families informed through regular email updates, monthly mailers, and direct phone calls for any immediate concerns. Annual care plan meetings are held to discuss the resident's care.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term stays with a minimum requirement and a daily rate, alongside a one-time application fee.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community welcomes pets, including cats, dogs, birds, and fish, subject to an application to assess suitability.

Waitlist Information

Currently, we have one open room but anticipate it will be filled soon. We maintain a lead list to inform potential residents of openings.

Vaccination Services

We collaborate with our pharmacy to offer vaccinations, including Covid and flu shots, to our residents.

Aging in Place

Our goal is for Angels Touch to be a final home for residents, partnering with Home Health and Hospice to provide necessary services and avoid the need for nursing home transfers.
