Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training
Our team includes certified care managers, med techs responsible for medication distribution, an Assistant Director of Nursing, a Director of Nursing, and an Executive Director, all of whom are licensed practical nurses (LPNs). Our staff undergoes rigorous training to ensure the highest level of care and expertise in our facility.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we employ several measures including the use of wander guards for residents with cognitive impairments, locking our front door from 7PM to 7AM, providing all residents with a personal pendant, and installing call bells next to the toilet and bed in every room.
Support Services for Residents
We offer support services to help residents transition into our community, including resident ambassadors and an activities director who takes the time to understand each resident's background, interests, and hobbies.
Transportation Services
Our facility provides a wheelchair-accessible van for appointments within a 5-to-10-mile radius on Tuesdays and Thursdays, requiring at least a week's notice for scheduling. Recreational trips are planned for the spring.
Dining Experience
Our dining service is restaurant-style, with daily menus posted on a whiteboard and alternative selections always available.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents with complaints or issues are encouraged to speak directly to the Executive Director or the Director of Nursing for clinical concerns.
Cost of Living
The cost for a studio apartment starts at $2,250, and a one-bedroom apartment at $3,340, plus additional care level costs starting at $400 based on a pre-move-in nurse's assessment.

We maintain open communication with residents' families and ensure they are kept informed about their loved ones' well-being, with clinical staff providing updates on any changes.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term respite stays at a daily rate of $73.77 plus the daily rate for the required level of care, starting at $13.11, with a minimum stay of 30 days.

Review Summary
The following is an AI generated summary of the reviews of the community from across the web.
The reviews for this senior living facility present a mixed picture of experiences. Some reviewers have praised the facility for its caring and attentive staff, with specific mentions of employees going above and beyond to make residents and their families feel comfortable and well-informed. The facility has been described as clean, beautifully decorated, and providing a warm, home-like atmosphere. Activities are available to keep residents engaged and social.
However, there have been concerns raised about the facility's management and staff turnover. One reviewer mentioned a situation where a resident with dementia was able to walk out, leading to discussions about the need for a locked ward. There have been complaints about the treatment of guests by upper management and a constant rotation of staff, which affects the level of care. The skill level of the staff has been described as varying, and there's been criticism about the facility's high turnover rate, from direct care staff to administration, impacting the quality of care.
While some have described their experience as a nightmare and advised others to stay away, others have found the facility to be a clean, safe, and caring environment for their loved ones. The cost of the facility has been noted as very expensive by one reviewer.
Overall, the reviews suggest that while many find the facility and its staff to be exceptional, there are significant concerns about management practices and staff consistency that potential residents and their families may want to consider.
