This place is absolutely the most terrible place I have ever encountered! It reeks of urine and they do not care about their residents! My loved one was missing from his room and we had to search for him! There was a room with a red light going off! We went in to see and it was him on the floor of the bathroom! He had pulled the light for help and no one had responded! Thank God we came when we did! After finally getting him off the floor, Ms. Joanne claims she did not know the light had been going off. She only apologized after we informed her of what we found!!! Can’t wait to get him out of this establishment. Not fit for any dog to live in!! One star is too much for this place. It should be shut down and or be properly cleaned and staffed with people who really care about helping people!!!!

I have a dear friend at Accordius that I visit. Months ago when she first arrived we were quite disappointed at the conditions of the facility. It was very dirty, it looked and smelled as if it was never cleaned. There was blood and feces on the bathroom floor & remained there for weeks. Patients were at the waiting area just inside the door as if to dart outside at the first opportunity. I had to wonder if there wasn’t a nice living area anywhere for them to go that they could at least view the outdoors. Very sad living for these adults! Since then however, these patients are not sitting in this area and a fresh new coat of paint has been added to the walls (and tacky paintings- I can’t understand why they couldn’t put something pretty like nature scenes or such up instead). As I enter at each visit, I am greeted and find the front staff to be friendly. Unfortunately I don’t have the same treatment anywhere else in this facility. I walk by the nurses station on the way to my friend’s room and the nurses have never greeted me and will barely acknowledge me when I speak with them. Comparing this to several other nursing homes that I visit, it breaks my heart at the sad conditions in which these people are living.

"We think" we absolutely would not let our worst enemy put their mother in that awful place! All my wife's mom's new cloths came up missing, her hand sewed quilt mysteriously came up missing, a new wall clock we bought for her mother came us missing like all the other stuff. And care was terrible! When we complained about her mom's things missing and the awful care the HEAD of Nursing told us "if you don't like her care here, take her somewhere else"! Her mother passed in less than 3 months in their care.

This place has absolutely got to be the worst place I can think to put a loved one in and that’s why we’re moving my mom. Rude staff, poor management, they lie to you about the care they’re giving your loved one. Beware of this place!!!! One star is overrated for this place.
