I would like to first say that this facility is amazing and does a great job taking care of my loved one. However, the reason why I provided a one star rating is due to the receptionist Tammy. Tammy provides poor customer service, and has a subpar attitude and lack of compassion needed for this role. Tammy blatant refuse to assistant the residents or the family of residents. When you ask her a question she replies and I quote" I can't help, I'm not going to, and you'll have to find someone else to do it". I understand we are in a pandemic and protocols are drastically changing so she might not have current information, however her consist bad attitude and refusal to assist has gotten me to the point of considering of removing my love one from this facility.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVE ONES TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE! The lack of compassion they show their employees as well as their residence is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. The activities director Farrah does NOTHING TO PREVENT DEPRESSION! She shows not compassion whatsoever to the residents or even her own staff. I would not trust the care of my love ones at the place AT ALL!!! They really don’t even deserve 1 star to be honest.
My mom has been to three different Rehab facilities in a year. The family and my mom all agree that A.G. Rhodes was the best out of the three. They were very attentive and when she needed something, she received it almost immediately. At the other facilities, we had to wait a long time, or had to ask for it several times. Great friendly staff and her physical therapist, Chris, was awesome! He really focused on her and was able to evaluate what her needs were to get her to improve to go home.
My 103 y.o. mother fell & broke her hip 3+ wks ago. She's had to go to rehab twice before for broken bones from falls in the last few years, and this is *by far* the best facility. She loves the therapists and is already much improved. The staff is responsive and friendly (a little short on the weekends, but that's true everywhere). She even thinks the food is great - a first. Having been through this with her myself during the earlier stints, A.G.Rhodes is a very pleasant surprise.
My mother was in A.G. Rhodes for several weeks. The nursing management was very nice, but seemed unable to make correction with problems there. Often I would visit late at night and there would be no nurses on the floor. I would have to search around to find someone, and would see multiple rooms with the help lights on. My mother often would press her help button and take from 30 minutes to an hour to get a response. In addition the food was the worst of any place my mother has ever been. By far! She simply could not eat there most days and I had to bring her food to eat there as a result. If your loved one needs to heal there or be in rehab., they simply will not get the nutrition needed. You need to supplement their meals! The positives were, there were management staff available during the day to talk to. The rehab was not as anxious to kick a patient out before they are enough better to go home, as some other facilities. The location was extremely convenient for us.
My dad was there very professional clean environment the staff was very nice and accommodating. Each visit with my dad he seemed happy and healthy always smiling. Everything about this place was 5 star. Yes, I would recommend this place to all who have a loved one who needs care services. We are looking at our mom now for a place of service here we are again, but rest assured she will be in good hands that we do know
