    Review Summary

The following is an AI generated summary of the reviews of the community from across the web.

Hillcrest has received a variety of reviews from residents, their families, and staff. Many praise the facility for its exceptional nursing care, cleanliness, and the friendly, compassionate behavior of the staff. Residents and their families often feel like they are treated as part of a family, with many positive experiences highlighting the quality of care, the engaging activities, and the personalized attention given to residents.

However, there are some criticisms, including a complaint about the rapid and seemingly insensitive handling of a resident's belongings after their passing, and concerns about the quality of food and the attention to residents' medical needs. One review mentioned a bad infection that was overlooked until it became severe.

Despite these criticisms, the majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive, especially from the staff who express pride in their work, the quality of care provided, and the team spirit at Hillcrest. Many staff members have been with the facility for years, indicating a strong sense of community and dedication to the residents' well-being. The therapy team, in particular, receives high praise for their excellent rehabilitation services.

Overall, Hillcrest is recommended by many for its caring and friendly environment, with staff going to great lengths to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents. The facility is described as clean, with a welcoming atmosphere, and a team that puts residents first, striving to provide the best possible care.

Can not say enough about the ENTIRE staff from Doris greeting you, always with a smile on her face, to Tina in housekeeping to the therapy and nursing staff. Would like to recognize Sara and Rochelle, RNs, that are absolutely amazing. My mom has been at facility for 3 months. She has been treated with such quality of care. I’m a Physical Therapist and have been very pleased with her rehab progress and ONGOING communication. Melanie, MSW, is also a jewel. My mom is very picky and has been pleased with her time spent at facility. I just want to THANK YOU ALL and God bless. People don’t realize how truly dedicated this staff is and taking care of sick folks is a true calling.
