Couldn't agree more with what Liz said in her review! My Dad was living in their assisted living. He had to go outside the facility and upon returning, they gave me a one days notice he would not be allowed back into his apartment but into the memory care in a shared room that could barely fit two twin beds! I mentioned to management how it would be so difficult to move all his belongings as it clearly wouldn't fit. They didn't care, told me to come back the next morning and sign the paperwork. That evening I was lucky enough to find another facility much nicer and less expensive. Once they found out about that, I got a call that all of a sudden they could offer me a better room. How dare they! Heritage Springs adds on additional costs if more care is needed whereas the other facility does not. The assisted living is ok, but definitely do not send your loved ones to their memory care!
Horrible facility. My dad is a little forgetful. They told me that they had a programs called illuminations to assist him if he needed it to help with the beginning stages of dementia if necessary. What a lie! I called there today to find that they had thrown him directly into a locked dementia ward without notifying me. I am his daughter, his health care proxy and a Certified Emergency nurse. I'm sure they did this so that they could collect twice the monthly rent. Shameful. I don't know how they sleep at night.
My guy has been in assisted living at Heritage Springs for just a week , but this facility has been extremely warm, caring and friendly so far. The staff goes out of their way to help the residents, and their welcoming attitude is helping him adjust to the transition in an easier manner
I have been looking for an assisted living center for my father who has fallen on some tough times with his health. I was recommended to Heritage Springs by another center that could not take him due to the type of health issues he had. I spoke with Bryan who did an AMAZING job talking me through the process and was incredibly empathetic to my story and needs. He did a followup call when he found out more information that would help me along this painful journey. We haven't been able to make full plans for my father as of yet, but I can tell you that Heritage Springs will be our choice. I cannot give enough compliments to Bryan and his staff!!!
Heritage Springs is by far the best Assisted Living and Memory Care in Vegas. After touring several other buildings we finally decided on Heritage and I'm so happy we did. This is one of the only buildings in Vegas that has been owned by the same company and it shows. All the other buildings have exchanged owners a handful of time. I didn't think it would make a difference but it has we are getting all the personal attention we need. My mom lived in AL and then went to MC. The transition was seamless. The staff was there for me and helped support my family throughout the year. It's a top notch community.
My father has been a resident in Assisted Living in Heritage Springs since February. The building is clean, warm, and inviting. Everyone, from the receptionists, the dining staff, the cleaning people, the aides, the med techs, and the supervisory staff, make the residents the focus of their day. The food is excellent, which was an important factor in finding a home for my father. Although my father does not choose to participate in many events, there are activities for many different interests offered. I highly recommend Heritage Springs and applaud the staff for providing such excellent care.
Top notch care!!!Wanted to find a facility for both my parents. Unfortunately with my mothers advanced Alzheimer's they needed separate living arrangements since my mother needed 24 hour care. Heritage Springs was able to place my mother in memory care while my father was in assisted living just upstairs. A great benefit since my father spent everyday with her. The staff and management treated my mother with the utmost dignity and respect in her final months. It takes special people to help those suffering with this dreaded disease. Everyone on staff truly cares for their residents and we found great comfort in knowing that my mom was always safe and looked after. If you are in a similar situation I suggest taking a tour and meeting the staff. Your loved ones will be better for it.
My Mom and I were recently searching for an assisted living facility for my dad. Before visiting Heritage Springs, we were discouraged by the lack of caring and compassion other care facilities offered. That feeling ended the moment we were warmly greeted by the receptionist at Heritage and the informative and engaging tour conducted by the admissions coordinator, Kiel Hale.Upon evaluating my dad’s health issues, Heritage ultimately couldn’t meet his extensive needs, but I am writing this review to address what happened AFTER we resumed our search. Kiel continued to offer support in regards to viable options we could consider for dad’s care. He gave us extensive suggestions and references to rescue us from a very emotional and confusing ordeal. This “old school” business model of helping patrons obtain successful outcomes is very rare in today’s world, but thankfully it is alive and well at Heritage Springs.
This facility is always immaculately clean it reminds me of a luxury resort or high-end condominium community. I’ve had the pleasure of having breakfast with their residents. Wow the food is delicious and the residents are so happy and engaging. The executie direct Anita is a world class administrator her staff is fantastic very friendly and helpful during my visits. My parents are 75 when they are ready to downsize we will come to Heritage Springs.
They drug your family member until they are unresponsive and have to be rushed to the hospital. Then when they return from the hospital they are found on the floor because no one was watching them. They violate HIPPA rules and don’t communicate with the health care proxy. You loved one will walk in there a bit confused and within 3 weeks be a zombie. Do not put your loved one here.
My brother has been there for only a short time but the staff and all the people that I have worked with are very nice and understanding of my situation. They have always had my brother's best interest as their first priority and he does get really good care. Not unhappy with moving him from his previous place which he lived for several months.
The atmosphere is first class, and the staff was exceptional from day one in helping our father to feel comfortable and at ease. The dirrector has created an enviroment where all the residents can interact and become a part of no matter what their condition is.As to the financial piece, we all know that nothing is to good for our loved ones, but sometimes there are limitations where we wish there were not. Heritage is not only affordable, they exceed expectations far and above the cost.We not only recommend Heritage, but want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for helping us to make our fathers last days the best they could possibly be.Paul Ogrodny
