I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this place. The staff is rude, obnoxious and could care less about your loved one. At first you think everything is great, the receptionist and some staff are incredible, the event women was amazing and we got to FaceTime with my dad because of her. The physical therapy team is great! But everything after that, I have nothing nice to say. They tell you, they welcome you bringing stuff for your loved one, but every time we brought stuff for him,  which was every day they treated us so rudely and were basically annoyed by us. Good luck getting any communication from anyone. You are lucky to call and get someone to answer, half the time it says the number isn't in service. My father was freezing every night, we finally had to bring on our own blankets for him. I heard very bad things about this place but didn't believe them and now I know first hand! Do NOT send your loved one here!!

We recently visited my wife's mother (Lois)who is staying at this nursing home.  We were very pleased with the facility and staff.  The home is clean and well maintained.  The staff is attentive and professional.  But most of all the staff is very pleasant and appeared to be patient focused.  I could see staff assisting residents in the dining room, talking to residents about their needs and displaying an overall happy atmosphere.  We give it an A+.

I took a tour of the building and was impressed. Yes, it is older, but very clean, the staff was warm and friendly and professional. The head of nursing was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. There were no smells and the residents all looked well taken care of. Several were in the courtyard planting flowers in the garden. They were laughing and having a good time. I would send my loved one here.

My brother is here and pushed the call button for over an hour with no response the light does nothing but flash no sound at all to alert the staff of the need for help after being there for several hours he was given only one pill of his meds as opposed to the 2 every three hours at the hospital. My wife and I called a total of 9 times until someone answered the phone and the best they could do was say we will go check on him at which time he was told they would say something to the other nurses. This is not the way a healthcare facility should be run. Even the administration seems uncaring.

This place is awful and the Staff don’t care about the Residence. My brother in law is there now n he was ringing the help bottom. It took my hubby n I to call about 9 times to get a hold of anyone to go help him. So if I could give a zero I would.

Coral trace has had my mom for about 8 years now and has been like family. I had been there visiting several times a week for those years until Covid came and never did I see anything I didn’t like. Always pleasant always clean and my mom calls it her home. The care has been right on top of it with any concerns and always keep me updated. Wouldn’t have her anywhere else.

All reviews are based on personal experiences and mine and my mothers who is living in assisted living in Fort Myers has been here at least 4 times each for lengthy stays to rehab , yes it is a older building , it is clean you can bring your own sheets and have option to do your loved ones laundry which to me was good to give my mother comfort , the nurses are very nice along with the nurses aids who treated my mother with kindness , each time she came back they remembered her and came to her room to see her and talk to her, they know my routine and to me and my husband . There Rehab team is great and they push her to bring her independence back, to where every time she was there she did well when transitioning...and they are very kind and truthful .. so my review is based off of personal experience , she is there now and I requested she go there from hospital , she's comfortable and 5 minutes from me ... so thank you to staff for taking care of my mother!

This place is horrible. It stinks of urine and the care is way below average. Discharged my friend to home and he could even make it to his front door, started falling. Called EMS and went to hospital with pneumonia.

I highly recommend Coral Trace because of the wonderful staff. They are all very professional, friendly, and willing to take care of any questions or concerns. Everyone works hard to make it a clean and comfortable environment for residents and their loved ones. Go take a tour and you’ll understand that it really is a great facility.
