My mother in law lives next door. We came home from lunch around 1:30 on Dec. 19th, and saw a man sitting in the driveway unattended. Didn't think anything of it even though it was 40 degrees out. When we left my mother in law's at 8 pm the guy was still sitting in the exact same spot with temps near freezing. We called the receptionist to alert them and they had no idea he was out there. It would make me question putting anyone in this place
Cedars Healthcare Center did an outstanding job in rehabilitating my elderly/disable sister. She entered the facility in the latter part of May 2021 with a myriad of health issues that I could no longer manage due to the severity of her challenges. This week I am pleased to report that my sister was discharged a few days ago and returned home. She is doing great!Although others have posted negative reviews, I am sharing with you; as a healthcare practitioner, my family’s lived experience with this facility. As a result, I want to thank Ms. Ford, administrator, Abu (sorry, I don’t recall your last name, nurse manager, Vanessa, my sister’s primary caregiver, as well as my sister’s roommate (for privacy reasons, I will not state her name) who has now become a life-long friend, and last but not least, the lady who leads religious services on Friday’s outdoors for the residents. Each one of you played a critical role in my sister’s recovery. Again, thank you.
This facility has undergone a significant number of transitions during my 7 years of employment (2013-2020). There have been some extremely high points and a few unfortunate low points. However in the end, the unbreakable perseverance of core staff that have sacrificed a significant amount of themselves to provide excellence in care is what is truly amazing . In every nursing faculty, there is always areas of improvement but I can personally attest to the determination of their staff, especially under the current direction of an extremely passionate and knowledgeable Director of Nursing.
I have a family member here receiving rehab and I have to say everyone has been so extremely nice and accommodating. My loved one has special needs and he is being treated with the upmost respect and love. There is music outside once a week preaching outside once a week and they have activities and game night which he really loves. The residents there are freely walking around and greet you when you’re there. It’s good to know that you can trust someone with your loved ones care. Thank you Cedars from the bottom of my heart.
This place is awful when you go see your loved one during the day they get smart with you and sometimes say they have no paper work for your visit so you have to leave and make a new appointment the evening shift has been very sweet and haven't had any problems my mom says that most of the CNA's are awful to her and get very rude with her as well
Working at Cedars Healthcare has been a very rewarding experience. The bond you build with the residents and the families is unbelievable. Through the entire pandemic I’ve seen a lot of sadness, yet we came together as a team. We continued to be there for our residents when the families were restricted. FaceTime or a phone call was the best we could do for a long time. I know the family members appreciated it as well as our residents. The outpouring of donations from the community was amazing. I am proud to say we have an amazing team of workers!!!
Cedars truly cares about the residents here and have gone above and beyond to ensure the residents are not only safe but also happy during the COVID Pandemic. Cedars has an excellent Therapy and Rehabilitation Team that works hard to improve the lives and well-being of the residents!
I’ve worked her off and on for over 15 years. This is the only place that I have worked that is truly a family environment. We have exceptional staff and they really care for the residents like they were family. We serve a special population that deserves the very best. I have worked at facilities that are newer and more state of the art but the care was subpar to what the staff at Cedars provides. Our residents are happy and have the best activities in town!
Went to an interview. Trash and food strewed throughout the lobby. Very bad vibes. Paperwork was copied off-centered and crooked. Everything about the place was woefully indifferent, including the 45-minute wait. Clients there seemed under-dressed and neglected. I've seen concentration camps more professional. Beware!
Worst nursing home in the area and if I could give less than one star, I would! There have been a few really personable nurses, but they don't last long at all. We have had constant issues with this establishment from their administration to their staff taking my grandmother's (who has Alzheimer's) alarm anklet off, allowing her to exit the building without setting off alarms and provided us no explanation of why they did this. I could go on and on concerning the issues present at Cedars but frankly don't have the time. Please, for the safety and wellbeing of your loved one - do your research and please seek alternate care.
thé worst rude unsanitary no teamwork zone patients rooms were disqusting thé cna nurses are hella ratchet and housekeeping is even worser its wonder this building still stands dont bring your loved ones there please!!!!!!!! Thé résidents are very sweet there but thé cna nurse are crude they dnt attend To the patient rite away the place is not sanitary at all.!! Your loved ones deserve better !!
